my wife and i are both returning to school full time, so in order to help cut costs we are in search of a male roommate, preferably a responsible student focused on his studies or a career-oriented young professional.included in the price of rent:
10’ x 17’ bedroom with lots of storage space
a parking space
use of the washer and dryer, which are within the unit
all utilities: heat, hot water, electric, cable, wireless internet
some groceries that are just meant to be shared (i.e. tissues, toilet paper, dish detergent)
we think that the ideal roommate:
always cleans up after himself and keeps a clean and organized bedroom despite the fact that it’s a private area, not because he must but because he understands why he should.
takes off his shoes upon entering the front door.
really likes dogs, especially ours.
would be happy to find an apartment right on the minuteman trail.
is relatively quiet, reads a lot, is a non-smoker, and could be described as “a little geeky.”
about the location:
a 9-minute walk to davis square, a 9-minute walk to alewife, and a 2-minute walk to mass ave.
a 3-minute walk to dunkin’ donuts, a 5-minute walk to a sushi restaurant, a 15-minute walk to trader joe’s or whole foods.
this is a quiet neighborhood and a quiet building, but it’s hardly in the boonies.
