room available for rent in escondido, ca. room is approximately 100 square feet. monthly rent is $600 per month with utilities included. a $700 security deposit is required before move in. a background check is also required. this must be paid for by the tenant. details on background check will be provided if we consider you for the room. the house is a 4 bedroom 2 bath house. we rent out one of the 4 rooms to another roommate currently residing in the house. the bathroom must be shared with the other roommate, but he is clean and at work most of the time. there is a separate fridge for your use. it must also be shared but it is large. there is a washer and dryer available in the garage free of charge. the only stipulation with the washing machine is that it has to use high efficiency detergent. smoking is allowed, but it must be done in the front yard away from the house. guests are also allowed, but they must be civil, and cannot stay for more than 3 days in a row. if they do stay longer, or are habitually staying several days in a row but not exceeding 3, i will ask them to add themselves to the lease. my wife and i have a son, a dog, and a cat. my son is almost 3, and the dog is a small dog who does not shed. the cat does shed though. there is a pool at the house which you can use. we are willing to accept couples at $700 per month. the added $100 per month is to make up for the added utility costs. unfortunately, we cannot accept children. this is due to california law requiring beds for all children. the room is not big enough to conform to the law. off street parking is available and is usually plentiful. i have photos available, but this website will not post them due to file size restrictions. if you wish to see photos, please send me your phone number and i will text them to you. if you are interested please contact me through the website.
