Additional Information
amazing master bedroom with master bath. it's your own suite in a huge apartment with vaulted ceilings that range from 8-20 feet. very private, as it's a corner unit on the top floor. when your doors are closed you can't even hear anyone else in the apartment or the building.

everything in the apartment is furnished except your master bed and bath. it's possible we could discuss furnishing it, but would prefer you to bring your own furniture. the rest of the house is completely furnished, down to everything you need in the kitchen. if you have stuff you'd like to use in the kitchen, we can definitely make space for it, but you're also welcome to just use everything that's already there.

room available july 1st, for 3-6 months. possibility of extension.
ideally looking for a graduate student or med student or nurse on a rotation, or exchange student. someone who's not looking to stay a year. ideally someone in their late 20s, 30s, 40.
must have steady income, and be able to prove it (for the lease application). must be responsible and considerate.

absolute ideal person would be someone who travels alot :)

one person only. no couples, sorry.

must be ok with the fact that i work from home a good majority of the time, and will be in the living room, kitchen and dining room often. this means this situation is more ideal if you are not home all day.

the full rent is $2,245.00. the split will be $1,122.50 per month.

there is a $975 deposit, returnable to you when you leave.

you will have to fill out a leasing application and pay $35 processing fee. you will be on the lease while you reside here.

the building may require you to pay first and last, plus deposit. but likely first and deposit.

must split utilities. utilities include gas, power, wifi, phone (non-negotiable as the door buzzer has to go through it), and tv. if you want tv in your room, rather than just the living room, we can add it and adjust the cable bill. the building pays for water and hot water.

absolutely no smokers. no drug users. no heavy partiers. no heavy drinkers.
i'd really prefer if you didn't smoke pot either, or light a lot of incense or scented candles.
there are people in the building who smoke cigarettes and smoke pot, so you will smell it from time to time - if that upsets you, please don't inquire - there's nothing i can do about it other than close the windows and doors.

no pets. there are pets in the building, but i do not want pets in the apartment, sorry.

huge living room with air conditioning, large couch, enourmous tv. great balcony with chairs and plants. big dining room. good size kitchen with huge fridge, gas stove and oven, dishwasher, garbage disposal, pantry. blender, toaster oven, tea kettle, coffee grinder. dishes, utensils, pots and pans.

building has coin operated laundry on each floor as well as trash chutes and recycling.

garage parking! it is tandem, but it's a simple thing to move the cars if we each have a copy of the other's key.

i cook a lot, and would be more than happy to split groceries if your food preferences align.

i play music when i cook or clean. not too late, but i play music in the main areas.

must be ok with the fact that i will from time to time host airbnb guests in my room, while i sleep on the couch bed in the living room. they are almost all very affluent european guests, and rarely here as they're usually in la on business. they are usually here for a night or two, never more than 7, and always with a break between. i never host when i'm not home, such as when i vacation.

must be ok with the fact that i will have dinner parties and friends over from time to time, but will always give you a heads up and will always keep it quiet after 10 or 11. i would appreciate the same :)

not looking for someone who's going to have their boyfriend or girlfriend over non-stop, as that would be the equivalent of having two renters, not one. but i have no problem with visitors otherwise.

it's a quieter building, even though we're near ucla. so if you're looking for a building that's active past 10 pm, this isn't it.

please excuse the master bedroom photos - my current roommate is in the process of packing and moving out so it's a bit messy.
