my roommate is moving abroad at the end of the year so i am looking for a great new roommate to move in jan 1! the available room is really bright and pretty spacious--you can easily fit a queen bed, tv, dresser, and desk. the room has a cable outlet, smaller closet (there is a lot of closet/storage space within the apartment though), and big windows. the apartment is fully furnished but there is a bit of room for other furniture if you have it. there is plenty of on-street parking, coin-op laundry in the building, and is located near multiple bus lines (63 runs up & down grand ave, 87 goes to the u of m, 21 goes to uptown, and 84 goes to rosedale mall and the lrt). we're located 4-5 blocks from macalester and ust and are just down the street from the grandview theatre, whole foods, and many shops and restaurants. the building is very quiet and i am a full time student and work full time, so no loud parties/late night guests. there is also no smoking/drugs allowed in the apartment. i do have 2 cats so those with allergies probably wouldn't be a great fit. i typically am in school & work from 8am-8pm m-sat, so i typically come home, make some dinner & veg out doing homework and watching tv. i go out on the weekends but i never bring the party back with me, so i would want a roommate who is the same. all utilities except cable/wifi and electric are included--i usually pay $515 or less per month.it's a great space & i've lived here for over 2 years and would like to find someone who is willing to stay through may with the possibility of staying longer.
